Query : I have studied Physics Hons., did MS from Europe with full scholarship and now doing PhD in Physics. Is becoming a Professor a good career choice for me?

According to Vedic astrology my observations are as follows:
1. Aries ascendant and lord Mars is placed in the house of fortune with the lord of profession and achievements etc Saturn.
2. Education house lord Sun is afflicted by Saturn or we can say has given advantage of achievements and success. Sun is giving strength to its own house, means you will achieve education of your choice. Although lord Sun is afflicted, so may be not up to your full satisfaction or your caliber.
3. Jupiter is Mahadaha lord and giving blessings to the house of education and research house lord Mars, indicating that during this Mahadasha you will be performing well, Anterdasha lord is Mercury lord of service and communication / voice etc. which is placed in the house of Profession, this anterdasha indicates that use of voice with intelligence, Jupiter and Mercury combination with Saturn in ninth house indicates that at present you can go for the profession of Professor.
