Daily Forecast – Share Market – August 18th, 2021

Nifty may look for 15675 | Buy on dips | Watch on FIIs

Ketu, Venus and Moon are leading the day, well supported by Sun, Mars and Saturn (which is transiting retrograde). Important – weekly expiry today because tomorrow will be a holiday. Market may behave accordingly.

It will be better to keep a watch on FIIs, which is liquidating with a care, for a while. But the day will sell, may give impact on the market. On date, I will prefer to keep a watch on FIIs. Although, in previous day’s sell by FIIs, which was neutralized by the buying by DIIs.

Still, emotions are better. Buy on dips, will be a decent policy for a while. Investors can wait for add on. But Nifty may trade bit positively, Ketu may propel market further.

Areas like IT, communication, Tea, coffee, rubber, lubricant based products like automobile tyres, paints, petroleum, Pharmaceuticals, power, automobile, automobile ancillary, infrastructure, cement, space, defence, wi-fi, garments, FMCG, leather, textiles, paper, chemicals or better to say that many segments may remain active.

Trade with positive intention. Buy on dips (if any)

Indian Rupee may trade in between 74.00 to 74.70 per USD.
