Daily Forecast – Share Market – August 17th, 2021

Emotions positive | Wait, buy on dips | Look for Opportunities

Moon with Venus is leading the day, well supported by Saturn (Retrograde), Mars (combust), Mercury, Sun and Ketu. Indications for the market – I feel is better. Nifty may look for 15625 or so. Although some ifs and buts will not be surprising. Keep a watch on Mid-caps and small-caps along with large caps (selective).

Tomorrow will be weekly expiry day, so market may take guards accordingly (possibility). Globally, Pandemic impact is increasing including China and US. It will be better for us to take necessary precautions, because next month Jupiter may give some impact in India related to COVID.

Crude in international market is under control, in comparison to previous period. Although, government is not giving any relaxation to Petrol and diesel, which is causing Price rise and another burden on middle class, because they will be paying all taxes, despite of Pay cuts, loss of jobs, no relief from anyone as other categories are getting.

Market is growing because of liquidity and positive emotion, comparing to the previous year. Casual traders must trade wisely or better to look for investment purpose, because trend of market is controlled by various factors and areas.

Global cues from market are better.

Sugar, agriculture, banks (look for opportunities for the coming period after 10 days), IT, communication, power, automobile, cement, infrastructure, reality, Tea, coffee, FMCG, Perfumes, keep a watch on news and action by the government/agencies, Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostic  laboratory, health care, and many more segments may remain active, including chemicals, electrical and electronics etc, with manufacturing areas.

Emotions are positive, market may consolidate, but positive movements also possible, wait for dips and buy on such dips.

Indian Currency

Indian Rupee may trade in between 73.90 to 74.70 per USD.
