According to Vedic astrology my observations are as follows:
1. Gemini ascendant and lord Mercury is in the house of gains and ambitions etc. This indicates that basic characteristics of personality. There is no affliction on ascendant or its lord. Ascendant has Jupiter lord of profession and marriage. Giving back strength to house of marriage.
2. I do not know, how you have missed one chance of marriage earlier.
