Query : I am an german  italian girl living in Italy. One year ago I had an important spine surgery due to agonistic sport activity performed for many, many years, I still have some problems with my back which obstruct my career (I’m still not in condition to work). Will health problems endure my whole life or is this transiting pluto in the sixth house (last year conjunct my mercury)? Thank you! This injury (‘spondylolysis’- fracturated vertebra) comes in a very silent way, I’m not sure but the first slight symptoms I perceived in the first half of 2010, and in march-may 2012 it became insopportable. The date of the surgery was 01. Oct.2012. And I leaved my Sport in July 2010. Thank you!

According to Vedic astrology my observations are as follows:
1. Cancer ascendant (whole sign basis), Lord Moon is in the house of gains and achievements, but afflicted by Saturn retrograde, lord of seventh house (lord of destroyer) and spouse, from the house of finance and house of destroyer, is hurting your ascendant (personality/physique/emotions and achievements etc.) Mars is placed in ascendant and afflicting Venus (total combust) lord of house of spinal cord and house of spinal cord.
2. House of spinal cord is afflicted by Saturn (Rx) as well by Mars (Rx), also Jupiter (Rx) from the house of expense or hospital is giving aspect on the house of spinal cord.
3. This problem might be started in between 22-11-2009 to 25-03-2009, during the period of Jupiter and sub period of Jupiter and sub-sub period of Saturn. Main impact might be around 02-02-2010 to 18-02-2010 when sub-sub-sub period of Mars was started (date of timing may be few days this side that side because of longitude and latitude).
In my opinion, yes Mercury is also playing its role, but main reason for trouble is Venus, Saturn, Mars and importantly period of Jupiter for 16 years. Next year you may some issue with neck or related region.
So, I believe Jupiter is and Venus two auspicious planets because of their lordship and placement are hurting you along with malefic impact of Saturn and Mars.
