According to Vedic astrology my observations are as follows:
1. Virgo ascendant and lord Mercury is placed in the house of gains, desires etc. but is in the state of total combust (not in a position to give best results). Ascendant is afflicted by eighth house lord Mars, placed in the house of spouse and marriage.
2. Spouse house lord is placed in the house of fortune, forming rajyog, but in the sign of Venus, which is again forming rajyog. Jupiter is blessing house of spouse and indicating that will decrease malefic affects of affliction by Mars on ascendant.
3. Mars in the house of spouse house being lord of trik house and house of miseries, indicating that delay in marriage is possible or disturbance in marriage is possible. No auspicious aspect of effect on spouse house or lord is seen.
Since Jupiter is in the house of fortune (Jupiter is lord spouse) can give marriage even in running period till 02-05-2014, but chances are tough.
