According to Vedic astrology my observations are as follows:
1. Scorpio ascendant and lord Mars is placed in ascendant and conjunct with profession house lord Sun, longevity/miseries house lord Mercury and in Rahu-Ketu axis. Indications are that mars is afflicting Mahasdasha lord Saturn placed in the house of longevity and Miseries, and Mercury is afflicting ascendant and spouse house.
2. Currently you are passing though Mahadasha  of Saturn and Anterdasha of Venus. Saturn is afflicted by sixth house and ascendant lord Mars. Mercury is also indicating that being eighth house lord in ascendant you may feel some health related issues and possibly struggle too.
3. Current Mahadasha is Saturn and Venus are exchanging aspect from second house and eighth house, its not an auspicious position for health and expenses too. This period will be over by may 2014.
