Daily Forecast – Share Market – August 18th, 2026 Nifty may test 24175 upper side 24400 | Again Banks important Mercury, Rahu with Ketu will lead the day, well supported by Moon, Mars and Saturn. Almost all the planets of the horoscope may remain active. Suddenness in the market may be seen during the day. Global political situation is still confusing. Threat to Oman by US is surprise for the area. Resulting Crude oil prices (as mentioned in my earlier posts) has crossed 90 USD (Brent) heading for 92 USD, US bond yields are also affecting the market. That means impact of US will be high. Nifty may test 24175 on the lower side, whereas closing before CAS was at 24366, after CAS has dropped at the levels of 24287. That means nifty may look for 24400 or so. Secondly, banks may play important roles during the day, reason is expiry of Bank Nifty. Watch automobile like TVS, with other companies based on news etc., watch on block deals, companies like Paytm and electronic components manufacturing segments, similarly, aluminium related segments with aviation (news based segments), chemicals, textiles, leather, Pharmaceuticals and healthcare may also show movements on either side.
