Banks and financial institution may be controlling the day or giving direction to the market. Planetary position is indicating that confusion in the market may remain for the day. Geo-political situation, Bond yield may give impact on the market of various nations. US Iran issues may continue in coming time. Strait of Hormuz may remain disturbed in coming time. Hence, crude oil prices may remain high. That may give impact on our market. Possibly Nifty may test 24000 and on the upper side may try to look for 24250. Yesterday, before CAS Nifty was at 24222. So, pressure on upper levels possible of previous levels before CAS. During the session of CAS there was a dip to the declared level. Again, banks and financial institutions may play important role for the day’s trading. At the same time watch IT, logistics and aviation related segments with care. Global political issues may remain tough, which may give impact on crude oil prices. Gold may remain bit better. Silver may remain deceptive. Nifty may test 24000. Almost all the planets of the horoscope may remain active. Suddenness in the market may be seen during the day. Global political situation is still confusing. Threat to Oman by US is surprise for the area. Resulting Crude oil prices (as mentioned in my earlier posts) has crossed 90 USD (Brent) heading for 92 USD, US bond yields are also affecting the market. That means impact of US will be high. Nifty may test 24175 on the lower side, whereas closing before CAS was at 24366, after CAS has dropped at the levels of 24287. That means nifty may look for 24400 or so. Secondly, banks may play important roles during the day, reason is expiry of Bank Nifty. Watch automobile like TVS, with other companies based on news etc., watch on block deals, companies like Paytm and electronic components manufacturing segments, similarly, aluminium related segments with aviation (news based segments), chemicals, textiles, leather, Pharmaceuticals and healthcare may also show movements on either side. Daily Forecast – Share Market – August 14th, 2026 Nifty may show buying from lower and sell on upper levels Mercury with Saturn (Rx) leads the day, well supported by Moon, Mars, Rahu, Ketu, etc. Chances of Volatility is possible. Watch the day and trade with care. I agree that movements in many segments may be seen. We may see some movements from lower levels, but chances of Volatility are also expected. Hence, trade wisely on the weekend day. FIIs are selling on regular basis from the past week. Pressure on upper levels may be seen during the day. Our market is trying to hold the base levels like 24200. On the upper side Nifty may try for 24475. I believe in the pressure on upper levels. Banks and Financial institutions may remain supportive for the market. Because of banks and financial institutions, possibly we may see some pressure on treasury related news. Possibly in the second half of the day or at the time of CAS. Silver and Gold may remain better, but profit booking is also possible on upper levels.
